Quality Berries From The Ground Up

OREGON BERRY

History

About Oregon Berry

Great fruit has always started with the land. Founded in 1948, Oregon Berry was built on the fertile soil and temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest. For over 75 years, this region’s ideal growing conditions have served as the foundation for our expertise in cultivating premium berries.

Today, as a vital part of the Twin River family, Oregon Berry represents the perfect intersection of heritage and innovation. We have evolved from a local pioneer into a high-tech operation that plays a key role in advancing berry production for a global market. By combining decades of on-the-ground experience with Twin River’s global network, we ensure a year-round supply of fruit that leads the industry in flavor, firmness, and performance.

Precision from Field to Market

Quality at Oregon Berry is driven by state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to protect the integrity of every berry. Our facility utilizes advanced optical sorting equipment to ensure only the best fruit makes the grade, while rapid cooling systems immediately lock in freshness after harvest.

This technical precision is backed by an efficient, highly managed supply chain. From the moment the fruit leaves the plant, our system is engineered to maintain the cold chain and peak quality as it travels to local grocers and international partners alike. In short, a system designed to keep the fruit at its best as it travels to the market.

Testing the Future

We don’t just grow berries; we trial the future of the industry. Much of our production is centered around cutting-edge genetics, including varieties like Peachy Blue, Sekoya Crunch, and our Collection Series. By evaluating new selections each season, we consistently push the boundaries of what a berry can be. Improving shelf life and flavor profiles to meet the highest global standards.

Oregon Blueberries

Our Products

We focus on building trust, confidence, and long-term loyalty by delivering a consistent and reliable customer experience. Our standards are high, and we hold ourselves accountable to doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.

Blueberries

Oregon Berry grows blueberry varieties carefully selected for our climate and for the qualities customers expect most. Fields are planted, pruned, fertilized, and harvested under close supervision to maintain consistency at every stage.

That same hands-on approach is supported by Twin River, strengthening our focus on genetics, performance, and continuous improvement. Fresh, premium berries move from our packing facility by refrigerated truck, air, and ocean to markets across the U.S. and around the world.

Every decision is guided by quality and reliability, delivering fruit our partners can consistently depend on.

Strawberries

Strawberries were our first product and continue to be one of our strong sellers. Growers under contract to meet specifications grow all of our berries on selected fertile soil. We then process the berries in a variety of ways for both domestic and international markets. Our processing plant uses the latest washing and sorting technology as well as manual inspections to meet the highest grade "A" U.S. standards. Custom packs for international markets pass through additional inspections to meet even higher standards.

We have great flexibility in our strawberry processing line and can deliver product sliced, whole, graded by size, and with or without sugar. Purees and concentrates are also available.

Black Raspberries

Oregon Berry began growing and processing black raspberries in 1954. Today, we supply a majority of the black raspberry market. This unique berry is prized for its strong, dark purple color as well as its flavor and is found in specialty jams, jellies and other food products as a coloring agent.

Our black raspberries are picked by hand and by machine then processed in our plant under strict quality standards. A blower removes field debris, then berries are washed and sorted by hand. Black raspberries are usually frozen whole in pails or barrels, or they are available as a concentrate or puree.

Food Safety Compliance

As a grower, packer, and processor of fresh and frozen berries and berry products, we are regulated and inspected by federal and state agencies (FDA, ODA, OSHA, USDA, DOL, BOLI, DOT). The Food and Drug Administration - Food Safety Modernization Act outlines practices we are required to follow to produce safe food products. In addition, our customers require auditing and certification of our products, systems, and practices by independent agencies.

All Oregon Berry company rules, policies, procedures, record keeping systems, and training programs are designed to meet and exceed government regulations and independent certification standards, to create a safe workplace for employees, and to consistently produce safe, high quality products.
